DeGymnas wants to contribute to this by allowing people to share and pass on their passion for gymnastics in a dynamic, inspiring and exciting way.

In Degymnas you relive your own gymnastics past and that of so many other heroes who are engraved in our memory. For all active gymnasts definitely a very inspiration occasion.

The FOMU Fotomuseum of Antwerp houses one of the most significant photo collections in Europe, featuring both equipment and photo documents. Each year, the FOMU presents several temporary exhibitions by nationally and internationally renowned photographers. The museum’s displays change every four months, showcasing photography as a medium that is part of a broader social and cultural context. Visitors can also attend lectures and workshops, visit the museum shop and the museumcafé Pixel. The FOMU can be found in an old warehouse in the neighbourhood ‘t Zuid (South quarter of Antwerp), close to the museum of contemporary art M HKA and the museum of fine arts.

Welcome to the Museum Plantin-Moretus. Step inside the opulent historical home and publishing workshop of Christophe Plantin, a visionary publisher, humanist and businessman. This unique place revolved around books and the art of book printing for 400 years, and was the first museum recognized as UNESCO World Heritage.Discover the most beautiful books printed in this workshop from the 16th century onwards, from plain school books to richly illustrated luxury bibles, atlases and encyclopaedias. Enjoy the splendour of the past: majestic salons with gilt leather wall hangings and masterful portraits by Rubens in every corner. The Museum Mayer van den Bergh immerses you in a very special, intimate atmosphere. You will be introduced to a wonderful collection and to the man who assembled it on his own: Fritz Mayer van den Bergh. After his sudden death in 1901, his mother Henriette accomplished her son’s wish: to open a museum devoted to his breathtaking collection. Today’s visitor enters a world full of paintings, altarpieces, sculpture, manuscripts and tapestries. The masterpieces include one of the greatest works in Western cultural history: Mad Meg (‘Dulle Griet’) by Pieter Bruegel the Elder. Most of all, you sense Fritz’s passion and his connoisseur’s eye, together with a mother’s love for her son.
