Nina Derwael & Lisa Vaelen will not compete in Antwerp

Due to medical reasons, Nina Derwael and Lisa Vaelen will not compete during the World Championships in Antwerp. Yesterday, the 8th of September, Nina got injured during training and is unable to train and compete in Antwerp. On the other hand, teammate Lisa Vaelen was diagnosed with glandular fever.

An injury never comes at a good time, especially not when this huge event is in your own country. We wish our girls a good recovery and hope to see them soon back again in the gym.
